Free Medical Camps
Promoting and supporting access to health care to vulnerable groups of the population.
Rainbow For Africa UK volunteers have participated since 2016 in a number of Free Medical Camps in collaboration with our local partners of the St Paul Chaplaincy (University of Nairobi) and a number of other local organizations and businesses. These are days of free access to care and treatment offered to the local population. The medical camps are usually set either nearby slums and informal settlement characterised by extreme poverty or located in central areas of easy access for people moving on feet from distances. These activities entail clinical work, in partnership with local health professional’s volunteers, and coaching activities with the local medical and health professional students volunteering.
