A few of our amazing #Rainbow4Africa runners are getting ready together for the Essar Chester Half Marathon on the 18th of May to help raise funds to bring life-saving Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) training to healthcare workers in Western Kenya and beyond!

Your donation will help to
•    Deliver training to equip clinicians with essential ultrasound skills, improving antenatal care, emergency diagnosis, and healthcare access for vulnerable groups of the population.
•    Create an online community of clinicians providing long term education and support to each other  
•    Acquire portable ultrasound machines for training purposes and to be donated to serve vulnerable populations

A contribution of :

  • £50 covers the venue, materials, and transportation costs for running one day of POCUS school
  • £120 covers the cost for a single trainee to attend a 3 day POCUS school.
  • £150 per trainee (with 20 trainees in total per wrokshop) will enable us to purchase an ultrasound machine, which will be donated to a clinic in need after the training.
